Cave Room 7 – DOUBLE ROOM

This original cave room was carved at 8th century to use as a “Pigeon House & Watchtower” of the Famous Orthodox Monastery untill 1924.
We try to protect its originality while restored, Holes for Pigeon Eggs are well preserved and the room decorate with traditional furnishing, cappadocian carpets and kilims.
Balcony & Terrace & Window of the cave offers you one of the best view of Uchisar Casttle, Wineyards, Fairy Chimneys at head of the “Pigeon Valley” and “Goreme Valley”. While you sipping your coffe or herbal teas at traditionaly decorated balcony you can enjoy the captivating landscape, you can watch Balloon Flights in the morning or watch splendid Sunset.
